Donald brings with him more than ten years of experience in estate and trust taxation, probate and trust administration, charitable and not-for-profit planning, business succession planning and wealth preservation planning. Plus, Donald has extensive experience regarding analysis and recommendations on complex estate, gift and generation skipping transfer tax issues. He was previously a member at Husch & Eppenberger, LLC, in the tax and estate planning department. In addition to regular speaking engagements, Donald is involved with the Estate Planning Society, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Donald Chisholm Planned Giving Council and he currently serves as an adjunct professor with the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law.

James has over eight years of experience in the areas of estate and tax planning techniques, probate and trust administration, business succession planning and charitable and nonprofit planning. He also oversees the preparation of estate planning documents, including a diverse selection of basic and sophisticated wills and trusts. Prior to forming Friend Cooper he was a member of the tax and estate planning group of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC, a law firm in Kansas City, Missouri. He also worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Ernst & Young in Little Rock, Arkansas. He continues to be an in-demand public speaker and currently serves as an adjunct professor with the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law.

Andrea brings twelve years of financial management experience to Friend Cooper including a strong background in the areas of tax, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and planning. Andrea began her career at KPMG in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Certified Public Accountant. She also currently serves as the Investment Chair of the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, and as a math tutor at the University Academy.

Andrew Ralls

Andrew specializes in the preparation and compilation of financial statements and cash flow reports for individual clients and their businesses. Andrew also prepares sophisticated spreadsheets to analyze potential estate and/or income tax savings techniques implemented by the firm for clients. Additionally, Andrew plays an instrumental role in the administration of trusts and estates for clients.
